## How paying a bill works

1. Go to https://paygo.lk/pay and search for the biller (e.g. CEB, LECO, NWSDB, Dialog, Mobitel, SLT).
2. Enter the account/NIC the biller identifies you by. The amount due is fetched and shown before you pay.
3. Choose how to pay:
   - **Card** — Visa/Mastercard, on a bank-hosted PCI-compliant checkout page.
   - **JustPay (bank account)** — pay straight from a Sri Lankan bank account. Add it once with your
     NIC, account number and the mobile your bank has on record, confirm the bank's OTP, then reuse it.
4. A receipt is issued with an invoice number you can quote to the biller.

**No account is needed to pay a bill.** Registering only adds saved billers, saved bank accounts and history.

## What it costs

There is no subscription. A convenience fee may apply per transaction and **depends on the biller and
the payment method** — it is always shown before you confirm, never added afterwards. Some billers are
free to pay. Do not quote a specific fee: it is set per biller and can change.
